Engineering motion intelligence for performance-critical applications

QSense is a motion sensing technology company specialising in high-performance wearable IMU platforms for applications where accuracy, reliability and timing are critical. We design and develop IMU-based systems that enable organisations to capture, analyse and act on human motion in real-world environments.

Our work supports applications across clinical rehabilitation, industrial ergonomics, elite sports, tactical training and interactive systems – domains where motion data directly impacts performance, safety and outcomes.

Who we are

QSense operates at the intersection of:

  • wearable hardware engineering
  • embedded systems and firmware development
  • real-time data processing
  • applied biomechanics
  • system integration and productisation
  • medical devices, certification and validation

We build motion intelligence infrastructure – not gadgets. Our focus is on creating platforms that work reliably outside controlled lab environments and scale into real-world use.

What we do

We develop and maintain the QSense Motion Platform, an open, modular ecosystem combining:

  • high-performance wearable IMU sensors
  • deterministic time synchronisation and low-latency streaming
  • open SDKs and APIs for integration
  • tooling for visualisation, validation and deployment
  • OEM-ready architectures for product development

This platform enables partners to move from early concept and pilot studies to production-grade systems without changing core technology.

How we work

QSense works with:

  • research institutes and universities
  • clinical teams and rehabilitation providers
  • industrial organisations
  • performance programs in sports and defense
  • OEMs and system integrators

Our role is to support partners in building motion-driven systems that are technically sound, operationally viable and scalable. We collaborate on architecture, integration, algorithm development and productisation – not just on component supply.

We believe in long-term partnerships and technically grounded collaboration.

Engineering & development backbone

QSense is developed by 2M Engineering, a Netherlands-based engineering company with over 20 years of experience in designing and industrialising high-performance electronic systems.

2M Engineering provides the underlying expertise in:

  • hardware design and electronics engineering
  • embedded software and firmware development
  • wireless communication and real-time systems
  • product validation, certification and manufacturing readiness

This foundation ensures that QSense is not only innovative, but also reliable, reproducible and ready to scale.

From prototype to production

Many motion sensing solutions fail to cross the gap between proof-of-concept and real-world deployment. QSense is designed to bridge that gap.

We support partners across the full lifecycle:

  • feasibility and concept validation
  • pilot studies and field testing
  • system integration and optimisation
  • product development and industrialisation
  • scale-up and deployment

This combination of rapid development capability and production discipline is central to how we operate.

Our organisation

QSense brings together engineers, system architects and application specialists with experience across biomechanics, embedded systems, wireless technologies and product development.

We operate with a strong engineering culture, a focus on technical quality and a commitment to building systems that work in practice – not just in demonstrations.
